A decade of Pixels&
It's crazy to think it's been 10 years. We celebrated with a small gathering at Arta Gallery in the Distillery, organized by our account manager Tiffany Grace Tobias. It was great seeing clients past and present — people we've worked with across the last decade, all in the same room.
I was dreading having to say something. Normally I can talk at length about work, or what clients should be thinking about. This time, I froze. So I did what any sensible person would do — played it off like I'd gotten emotional.
When I looked up, I remembered why: you don't get to run a business for 10 years without being surrounded by amazing people. Collaborators, clients, friends — people who push you, challenge you, support you. That's what it's about. Not the milestone or the number, but a room full of people who've shaped the last decade and who'll shape the next one.
I may have blanked, but the moment said it better than I could have planned.
It just so happens our 10-year anniversary and my 40th birthday land in the same calendar year. Ten years of Pixels&. Forty years of me. Probably a recipe for a mid-life crisis — we'll see.
Thank you to everyone who came out. Special thanks to Lucas Howlett for the commemorative anniversary logo — I love it.
