Sponsoring a DesignThinkers scholarship

When I first started my career, the design community felt a little intimidating. I'd heard of DesignThinkers, but it always felt out of reach — expensive for me personally, and there was no way my employer at the time was going to cover it.

Then, by happenstance, the incredibly generous Shaila Pirani-Freitas, then at WeirFoulds LLP and one of our clients at the time, gifted us tickets. That experience exposed us to a community and camaraderie we didn't even know we had access to. We've made it a tradition to attend ever since — a chance to learn, be inspired, connect with other designers, and enjoy the crisp autumn air as a team.

This year, we wanted to pay it forward. Pixels& sponsored a scholarship for an emerging designer to attend RGD's DesignThinkers in Toronto. Associate RGDs can apply for a free ticket and a $500 cash scholarship to join us at the conference.
