A brand refresh for CENTRL Office
Some relationships give you the chance to explore a different side of your work.
Last year we were feeling a little stagnant creatively. We loved our client base, but wanted to flex a little more creative muscle.
Thanks to an introduction from Kevin Whelan, we started working with CENTRL Office. Alex Hughes leads an awesome team, and we knew pretty quickly we'd found our kind of people. That kind of connection is rare.
CENTRL had worked with a bunch of talented creative freelancers over the years. Everyone brought something to the mix, but over time, those additions had started to dilute their visual identity.
They needed a brand steward to help them take on more complex deliverables and keep things consistent moving forward. For us, it was also a chance to explore a more raw, artistic direction.
We took a hard look at what they already had. There was a lot there, including some amazing elements that deserved more attention. We just needed to focus on them.
We cut the extra fonts, brought their existing illustrations back into use, animated them, and helped that personality come through across brochures, digital signage, landing pages, and ads. It wasn't a rebrand. It was about seeing the potential in what was already there and giving it more room to breathe.
Thanks to Alex and the CENTRL Office crew for the trust, the creative space, and a great first year. More to come from this partnership.
